Then you can get them to arrive bigger with a +1/+1 counter and then you can spend two Gruul mana when a 4-power dork arrives to have Slinza fight them

It is quick, not too costly, has vigilance - which makes it a great attacker and a formidable blocker

As your creatures die and your experience counters build (a scenario that is very easy to accomplish through the use of a board wipe while Meren is in play), youll get to bring back bruisers like Razaketh, the Foulblooded or Sepulchral Primordial to start closing out the game
