While this wont allow you to cheat out too many hard hitters, you should be able to secure some great defenders or creatures that are costly thanks to their abilities
This change isnt huge, but it could easily be the difference between a manabase that plays out smoothly andconsistently and one that doesnt, and remember that, on top of making our colored mana work better, were also just drawing fetchlands more often, meaning we get to take more advantage of all the fringe benefits of fetchlands
If, during a player's declare attackers step, a creature that player controls that's been goaded is tapped, is affected by a spell or ability that says it can't attack, or hasn't been under that player's control continuously since the turn began (and doesn't have haste), then it doesn't attack
A player who starts with Gateway and builds their confidence in the game before heading out to their LGS is going to be shocked when a Ruby/Amethyst player drops a Queens Castle on the board
