All things considered, it's a very low mana investment for how well it synergizes and interacts with the decks that want to include it

If you discard a card while you control Hades, Sorcerer of Eld, abilities that function when a card is discarded (such as madness) still work, even though that card never reaches your graveyard

It's pretty useful in decks that want sacrificing to occur but, aside from that, I don't know how powerful this ability is
