For just two mana you have a creature with flash that creates growing creatures, punishes players for drawing to find an answer, and can pick off other small creatures

That's 1,000 more than the alternative-artwork 3-Star rare versions of the same cards

So back when the Pokmon TCG was first released outside of Japan by Wizards of the Coast (during their pre-Hasbro years even!) , Wizards had to do more than simply make the cards for the game

While more sales are required to confirm the market price, it's likely to stay around the same price for the time being
