The box is made of early plasticlikely celluloid or cellulose acetate, both common in French luxury packaging during the 1920s1930sand features a cream coloured exterior decorated with raised gilt scrollwork and radiating orange fan segments. The box was found with an original 1939 La Marquise de Svign almanac, printed on
