but the exterior is worn with a small seam split at the back - the ribbons are in place that hold the cover in display position and the box looks great when displayed open like that

This was published before various mishaps with airships

The work looks to me to be 1930s era and influenced somewhat by the angularity common during the late deco period - I'm not an expert
