Yosegi is a form of traditional Japanese craftsmanship from the Hakone region. Resembling a type of mosaic, Yosegi crafts are created through the combination of fine oblong rods of wood that are glued together, chosen for their grain, texture and color, and are well known for its intricately patterned nature.
