The plate depicts Montreal in 1760 and is part of the Canadian Confederation Series, which depicted different views of Canadian cities and other Canadian icons. I believe that this series was produced during the 1930s. The history of AJ Wilkinson is interesting because Clarice Cliff started her career there at the age of 17, after her drawing talent
