While it is true that a few of these cards have now been Masterpieces twice (Mana Vault, Ancient Tomb, Through the Breach), we need only look as far as Mana Crypt and Sol Ring for examples of cards that have had multiple rare and shiny versions that have tended to trend upward together once the Masterpiece started to rise
Like many other Cyberse decks, Maliss can play a relatively compact engine, as its combos are mostly able to be started with one card, and they can be adapted easily based on how the opponent interrupts them
But maybe the coolest part is that the design team clearly werent satisfied leaving things there
It's a Standard legal set, the first Universes Beyond product to be playable in (what is ostensibly) the game's main format
And while these particular cards have seen minor price slumps in recent weeks, plenty of other singles are still spiking in value, from Raging Bolt to Reshiram and Zekrom
