Being obsessed about the contemporary esthetics, Yiyan is credited with the simplicity and elegance reflected on his works. With the ashplant glaze blended by the potter himself , the gaiwan features the balanced and pleasing off white, giving an assuming but stylish appearance. It textured with pin stripes which is hand engraved one by one before being applied glaze.
