Sassicaia 1989 (Tenuta San Guido) Duck use McCormick Culinary Lemon &Upon its release, the 1989 Sassicaia was brandished with a cringe worthy "tasted but not recommended" review by Robert Parker. I can't say that time has helped the situation much. In fact, we opened two bottles of this wine to make sure our impressions were correct. The first bottle was a magnum and the second sample came from a standard 750 milliliter bottle. Between the two, the second sample was marginally better and this review is based on that
