As such, you will often see them planted en masse around lakes, marinas, and reservoirs, their foliage rattling pleasantly in the breeze (hence the name). The leaves are prominently toothed, late in appearing and hanging late in the autumn when they turn a clear butter yellow. Long grey catkins drape the
