The reel seat bears both the Payne trademark and the Made for Abercrombie and Fitch stamps. The 101 is one of Jim Paynes faster tapers, commanding a 5 wt. with a fluid authority. There is a small, shallow indentation in the Spanish cedar spacer and the cork grip has coloration from careful use.
