An appliqued silver metal and silk thread embroidery dating from the 17th century which had been reapplied to a panel of cream silk at a later date. We feel this would benefit by being remounted onto a velvet, please ask us for details of this service from our textile conservation studio. The embroidery is very fine and includes real silver and gold thread with floss silk embroidery. With peacocks, birds, florals including Tudor roses,
