The location of the two small dark markings on the tree looked like fishermen so by adding  the rods and the seagulls in a line in the foreground

the reddish colour washed down the tree colouring her face and dress

By out lining these characters with complimentary colours the family group appeared

Frolicking Fuchsias. Australian original art print. View The location of the twoI gave my mother for her 90th birthday a hanging basket of fuchsias. Seeing them in the sun, their appearance was just like a group of dancers. I picked one of the flowers and hung it under the deck with the shadow of the undercroft of the house behind and photographed it. Later I digitally added the detail required to create this artwork "Frolicking fuchsias". NOTE: A copy of the original photo is included and is attached to the back of the artmount.
