Lot 061 - Antique Inert WWI 37mm Model 1916 Shell Round with Projectile, Brass Casing Stamped Mk1 A1, Manufactured by W.M.FG.CO., 6-3/4" L 1465-favs Item dimensions of each pieceAntique WWI era 37mm gun shell round consisting of a brass casing with a steel projectile and copper rotating band. The base of the casing is stamped "AMLOT 37mm GUN MODEL OF 1916 LOT 1283 W. M. FG. CO MK1 A1." The primer has been fired, with a central hole visible in the base. The casing and projectile show oxidation, surface scratching, and patina consistent with age. Spots of verdigris are present on the copper rotating band.
