Abbots Matte White Midfire Glaze Glaze 1120 °C: 6A popular silky smooth glaze suitable for use on a wide range of bodies. Use thin on dark, or textured, or spotty clays to encourage maximum character development. Takes stains Set density at around 1400g l for single layer dipping or as low as 1260g l for layering. Use Epsom Salt as a flocculant if desired. Can easily be converted into a brushable glaze if dispersed in a suitable medium. Matte White is safe to use on food contact surfaces.
