Berllanderi Red Age:2 YR An early Welsh bittersharp ciderA Welsh perry pear from Monmouthshire. Medium to large conical pear, green yellow skin, with red flush and some russet. Discovered in 2000 by Dave Matthews in Berllanderi's Farm orchard, Raglan. The farm was once owned by the Duke of Beaufort and the fruit would once have been supplied to Raglan Castle. Bulmer's later used this orchard. A well balanced perry. Used both as a single variety and in blends. Low acid, no tannins.
