Loxi: Yeah I'm a big fan of this as a way to reuse large creatures with big cast triggers while still getting value out of something being...well a large creature

They are Black and Red's version of Elvish Visionary and Phyrexian Rager and Man-o'-War and other bodies with valuable enters-the-battlefield effects tethered to an early drop

Generally, I find commanders like this boring as they become good stuff decks, filled with a heap of powerful cards, and lacking a theme

I could wipe the board

Partners are inherently strong though, even if they dont spark excitement, and a deck fully built around Akiri and another artifact-centric partner can dish out some real damage
