Snail Knob Finish:Polished brass Bankston offers a 10-year defectThe Snail Knob was created for Petra by artist and Block Shop co founder Hopie Stockman Hill, and inspired by the famous giant snail from the 1967 film Dr. Doolittle as well as the Taschen Book of Symbols, where the snail is described as a metaphor for resilience, slow and steady progress, and adaptation. Initially hand sculpted in clay, the Snail Knob is hand cast in brass at an L. A. foundry and comes in both a left facing and a right facing
