Each of those, like the Darkness Crystal, will reduce the mana required to cast a spell in its appropriate color by 1, and will cost four mana two of the color of choice, but the rest is unique to each Crystal

Now you do need to have a location in your hand for his effect to do anything, but with some smart mulliganing and/or a good amount of draw, that should be consistently achievable on curve

Definitely some gems around in this set, and some cards that really needed a reprint, although it remains to be seen as to whether it justifies being the most expensive set ever
