From surviving a midair explosion to being thrown to the ground at a high rate of speed to laying in the ground about 150 years I would say the condition is pretty darn good

The nose cast sprue appears to have been hand trimmed off…not the first time I have seen this on a Belgian bullet

The patina is an extra nice white to light white color. A faint knife mark can be seen in the top ring where the paper cartridge was hand trimmed with a knife. The solid base is smooth. Measures about 0. 45 x 0. 66 inches. A real nice bullet!
