1960s Bleached Oak Daybed by Bertrand Goldberg with Velvet Cushion table Pair of 9' 20th century1960s bleached oak daybed by Chicago architect Bertrand Goldberg with new cushion in Kravet performance velvet. Cushion height: 7" Bertrand Goldberg (1913 1997) studied at the Bauhaus in Berlin and worked for Mies van der Rohe before returning to Chicago and worked on prefabricated housing. Socially progressive, Bertrand continued to apply his design philosophy to affordable housing projects, hospitals, college campuses and residential buildings.
